Welcome To Flotilla 14, the Kaneohe Bay Flotilla, Oahu, Hawaii!

We are on Oahu, which is Division One, of District 14, which is all of Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.
Our Flotilla Commander is Alan Chang.

Flotilla 14 members, flying American flags, pay their respects to veterans at the Kaneohe Bay Veteran's Day Boat Parade, Nov 2004 A racing buoy at Kaneohe Yacht Club denotes a turning point for sailboat racesKaneohe Bay is a beautiful sheltered bay on the East or "windward" side of the island of Oahu.
With many sandbars, reefs, and small islands, it is home to a wide variety of endemic wildlife---
and home to many boaters as well!

Fisherman, scuba/snorkeling, sailing vessels, PWC, and waterskiers all enjoy the bay side by side.
There are private marinas, public boat ramps, the UH Oceanography & Shark Research Center (on Coconut Island) and the Kaneohe Marine Corps Base HI-- all situated around the bay!
In addition, the USMC and the Coast Guard practice helo-ops and water rescue drills offshore.

Flotilla 14 assists in a civilian capacity to try to keep the bay and surrounding seas safe and enjoyable for all. We accomplish this mission by patroling the bay for safety hazards, performing ramp checks, ATON observation, observing and reporting any environmental hazards, and public education in the community.

We meet at the Kaneohe Bay Yacht Club located on Kaneohe Bay Drive in Kaneohe, Hawaii. Monthly meetings are on the first Wednesday each month at 7pm. When you pull in the driveway at KYC there is a security gate.  Just tell the intercom that you are visiting the Coast Guard Auxiliary meeting. Park in the parking lot inside the gate and walk in to the bar/restaurant area and you will find your way to the upstairs LONG HOUSE club meeting area.
